Our History
For nearly 50 years, Grenfell Building Supplies has offered a broad range of building supplies and products to contractors in the Grenfell area. Kevin and Colleen Lutz are the fourth owners, having bought the business in 2004 from Colleen's uncle, Brian Urschel.
For Kevin and Colleen, there is no such thing as success without values. They are proud of their community and deeply committed to its well-being.
Kevin and Colleen have deep roots in the area, and are committed to the success of the community. Colleen grew up on the family farm near Grenfell, and Kevin helped his dad farm nearby in Lemberg. Today, Kevin and Colleen are proud to grow their business and proud to support youth sports, music, and academic programs in the Grenfell area.
Kevin and Colleen are preparing GBS for the next half-century with a major renovation designed to attract home and property owners.
